Night safaris, off-road driving, bush walks and more. These are just a few of the exciting safari adventures you can embark upon during your stay. The camp is well known for employing female Masai safari driver guides. Two daily game drives are included in the price of your stay. For a more hands-on safari, you can choose to go on walking tours in the bush. Skilled Maasai guides will teach you how to track animals by identifying paw prints and movements in foliage. Some activities such as a hot air balloon safari, bush walks, a community visit to a Masai manyatta and horseback riding safaris are available at a surcharge.

Location of Kichwa Tembo

Air Kenya and Safari Link operate two scheduled flights a day from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Kichwa Tembo’s private airstrip; the flights take approximately an hour.

Mombasa Air operates daily flights from Mombasa; the flights take approximately two hours.

The flight is followed by a 30-minute drive to the camp, with game viewing en route.
